Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL, 33410 Magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. NAICS is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, Size Standard of $36.5M. Service Code Z1DA. Project Description: Provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment, and design-build services necessary for design and construction of a project titled Parking Garage Corrections.The project involves repairs to the WPB Parking Garage per the SOW. The location is the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. This solicitation will be evaluated on a Trade-Off basis. As stated elsewhere in this solicitation, this procurement is a two (2) Phase Design/Build IAW FAR Part 36.3. One solicitation will be issued covering both phases. In Phase I proposals will be evaluated to determine which offerors will submit proposals in Phase II. Block 13 A refers to Phase 1 Proposals. This requirement is set-aside for Vendor Information Portal(VIP) certified, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) Vendor verification for SDVOSB . WPB VAMC is a smoke free facility. Contractors, in order to enter the WPB VAMC campus you must have picture ID. All contractors are required to wear a face covering covering nose and mouth per guidelines while on property. All contractors will be screened at the entrance of the property. A series of questions will be asked and temperature taken. REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION: Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted by the prime contractor, through email to the Point of Contact listed above. No telephone RFIs will be accepted. The cutoff for submission of RFIs for Phase I is August 25, 2022 at 10:00 AM EST Phase I RFI should address Phase I evaluation factors only. If Phase II questions are asked, they will be deferred until Phase II. Responses will be provided in one document in a Question & Answer format to all offerors through a solicitation amendment. Bid Guarantee, the amount of the bid guarantee shall be 20 percent.BONDS (Reference Contract Clause FAR 52.228-15 for further information on applicability): A payment and performance bond shall be provided. The penal sum shall be one-hundred percent (100%) of order price. Bonds and other payment protection shall be provided within 10 calendar days of award of the Contract. Notice to proceed will not be issued until the Contractor provides sufficient bonding to cover the work being performed. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
