Renovation of a water / sewer project in Middletown, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of replacing RAS and WAS pumps, secondary clarifiers and associated Work. Separate Bids will be received for Contract No. 1 - General Construction, and Contract No. 2 - Electrical Construction. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis for Contract No. 1, and on a lump sum basis for Contract No. 2. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Contract Times will commence running as indica-ted in the General Conditions. Contract Times for completion and provisions on liquidated and special damages, if any, are indicated in the Agreement. The project is funded by the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation and is subject to its program requirements. Bidders are advised to review the "SRF Bid Packet" enclosed in the Contract Documents and all Supplemental Conditions including Equal Employment Opportunity, MWBE Program, Restrictions on Lobbying, Davis-Beach (DB) Prevailing Wage Requirements, and American Iron and Steel (AIS) Requirements.
