**As of September 07,2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Construction of the Dora Water System Improvements Contract A: Water Line Replacement Scope of work includes 27,389 LF of 6" water line, 4,123 LF of 3" water line, 890 LF of 6" Directional Bore, 275 LF Bore & Jack, 104 service reconnects, 1,380 LF of service line, 1,350 LF service line bore and other miscellaneous work. All Bidders must be properly licensed by the State Licensing Board of General Contractors of Alabama with proper classification for work. A certified check payable to the order of the Waterworks and Gas Board of Dora, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety company, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid, but not to exceed $10,000.00, must be submitted with each Bid. The Board reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All Documents are available via electronic, digital (pdf) files to prospective Bidders at no charge.
