The selected firm shall perform an Engineering Assessment/Engineer's Report for project des nos 2200482 and 2200484; Interchange Alternative Analysis for des 2200483; and finalize an Engineering Assessment Report for project des 1802051 meaning that INDOT has a preferred alternative that will need to be coordinated with the local public agency. The selected firm will also perform the road and bridge design and plan development work necessary to produce the construction contract documents for all 4 projects along with the Environmental Document Preparation, Wetland Mitigation, all Permits, Route and Topographic Survey, Traffic Analysis, Title Research, Land Acquisition Services, Right of Way Plan Development along with Roadway Design, Bridge Design Services, Geotechnical Services, Pavement Design, Sign Design, Lighting Design, Signal Design, Utility Coordination, and SUE Services. The first tier for this item will include environmental document preparation including preliminary engineering assessment /alternative analysis services to define essential project intent (scope, alternatives, conceptual layouts, performance analysis, preliminary costs, etc.). Included in services of this initial contract will be any necessary traffic data collection; coordination meetings with INDOT, FHWA, and local entities as needed; traffic capacity analyses to verify adequacy and performance of proposed project design; and estimation of all costs to build the project (e.g. construction, land acquisition, design & development, utilities, and environmental mitigation). Additional coordination with our local partners will be necessary throughout this process.
