This Project consists of installation of approximately 4,685 LF of sanitary sewer, manholes, sanitary connections and appurtenances and pavement replacement. Each BID must contain the full name or names of the interested parties, and in the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio, and be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check on a solvent bank or bid bond made payable to the order of the City of Strongsville, Ohio, in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid issued by a surety company licensed in the State of Ohio. The BID check or BID bond, as the case may be, will be held as a guarantee that, if the BID proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into between the bidder and the City of Strongsville, Ohio. The price of material and labor bid shall be separately stated. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, age, gender, physical disability or national origin. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in Ohio Revised Code 153.011 apply to this project. Copies of 153.011 can be obtained from any of the offices of the department of administrative services or through electronically.
