Competitive Sealed Bids are being requested for replacing the concrete parking lot at the Hall County Highway Department at 2900 West Second Street in Grand Island, Nebraska. Envelopes containing the bids shall be sealed and must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidders Bond in an amount of not less than five percent of the amount bid. The check or bond shall be made payable to the Hall County Treasurer as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and furnish the required performance/payment bonds and insurance. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (30) days after the date fixed for bid opening. Hall County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts of thereof and award contracts as may be deemed to the best interest of the County. Bids will be evaluated with competitive bidding considerations under NE Statutes 23-3110. The successful bidder will be required to furnish evidence of at least $1,000,000 of liability insurance, furnish a performance & payment bond for the full amount of the contract, and maintain a Drug Free Workplace Policy. The successful bidder shall comply with all applicable State fair labor standards in the execution of this contract as required by Section 73-102, R.R.S. and also comply with the provisions of Section 48-657, R.R.S. pertaining to contributions to the Unemployment Compensation Fund of the State of Nebraska. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
