Under this RFSQ SaskPower intends to establish a list of suppliers that SaskPower has determined are qualified to provide to SaskPower, for the Engineering Services department within the Power Production business unit, civil, structural, architectural, project management and engineering services. Prequalified Suppliers who are on the List of Prequalified Suppliers may, on an "as, if and when" basis, be contacted directly, or asked to compete, to enter into an Agreement for the provision of Services, as further described in the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix A). Refer to Appendix D -Specifications for a description of the anticipated scope of services that may be required under an Agreement. As described in Appendix D -Specifications, the Services to be provided under this RFSQ generally include the provision of structural/civil and architectural engineering Services related to any of our generating facilities. In addition, mechanical, and electrical engineering Services may be required. It is expected that the Engineer will engage an engineering firm as their Sub-consultant to perform the mechanical and electrical engineering Services if the Engineer does not carry those Services. Sub-consultants shall be approved by SaskPower prior to Services being issued to them. The actual scope of services of the Engineer under an Agreement will be described in an applicable subsequent procurement under this RFSQ. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
