Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Gleichen, Alberta. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Culvert replacement and wildlife fencing carrying Hwy 1:02 over tributary to Bow River. The replacement structure will serve as an underpass for the future volumes of water from the East Pond, the local wildlife. Other work includes additional wildlife fencing and jump outs on Hwy 1:2 from approximately 14.60 km to 26.90 km tying into existing fencing in both directions along with all other associated works; and additional wildlife fencing and jump outs on Hwy 1:2 from approximately 1.00 km to 2.45 km tying into existing fencing in both directions along with all other associated works. TIMELINE: Project is in design and currently included in the owner's three-year construction program. Tender and construction schedules may be confirmed mid-/fall 2026. *Budget is unreleased.
