Project Name: Hunt Hwy/Gantzel Rd Safety Improvements Project (TRACS) Number: T0352 03D District: Southcentral Route/MP: Hunt Highway (Gary Rd to Bella Vista Rd) & Gantzel Road (Ocotillo Rd to Combs Rd) Funding Source: HSIP Construction Funding FY: FY 2024 The project is located in the Town of Queen Creek, Maricopa County, AZ. The project for is the installation of fiber optic cabling infrastructure in existing conduit in the Town limits South of Ocotillo Road. This includes the installation of two 144 SMFO cables with one cable to be terminated for future use, Pull boxes as required and adding installation of 38 ARID devices various intersections. Existing Poles and cabinets will be utilized for this project. No New Right-Way is anticipated. Utility relocations are not anticipated. Project design must be completed and ready for advertisement by January 2024 (3th Quarter, FY24) The scope of the project for this project is the installation of fiber optic cabling infrastructure in existing conduit (field verification will be required) in the Town limits South of Ocotillo Road. Adding ARID 38 devices at various intersections is also included in the scope of work. There will be no Pre-Submittal Meeting associated with this solicitation. As the project progresses, it is anticipated that an additional scope task that may be requested on this project will be Monument Existing Right of Way Questions, in writing, shall be received by ECS at the below email address until 3 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE SOI DUE DATE at 2:00 P.M. (Arizona Time). No further questions shall be accepted after the time specified. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
