Renovation of a residential development in Norwood, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Contract No. 1 - General Rehabilitation - Base Bid 27 Clark Street - Base Bid - Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include : Furnish & Install New fascia & Soffit - Lead Item, Furnish & Install Twenty (20) New Vinyl Replacement Windows, Furnish & Install New Natural Gas Furnace and Furnish & Install new 200 AMP Electric Service Panel & Service. Additionally, the Base Bid will also require new smoke & carbon monoxide detectors per Code as well as lead hazard remediation work items detailed in the Lead Risk Assessment & LBP Inspection 27 Clark Street - Additive Bid - Furnish & Install Two (2) New Exterior Doors & Two (2) New Storm Doors, Furnish & Install Basement Insulation, Furnish & Install New Dehumidifier & Plumb into existing drains & Furnish & Install Full Bathroom The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. Bid Solicitations and Contract Documents are provided by the Development Authority of the North Country as part of the Authority's due diligence in its role as the NYS CDBG Sub Recipient for St. Lawrence County . St, Lawrence County is the recipient of the New York State CDBG Grant funding. The Development Authority staff, will review all bids submitted for completeness. The Development Authority will make recommendation to the homeowner on the lowest responsible bidder. The Rehabilitation Contract will be between the Homeowner and the Contractor. MWBEs and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to apply. The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS CDBG-assisted project will be extended to lower-income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area, in the award of contracts and purchase of services and supplies. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project has an estimated budget of 25k-40k.
