Renovation of a residential development in Potsdam, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Contract No. 1 - General Rehabilitation - Base Bid 186 Elm Street - Base Bid - Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include : Furnish & Install New Vinyl Siding, Foundation Repair & Install Proper Drainage to Day Light, Furnish & Install New Tub/Shower Unit Additionally, the Base Bid will also require new smoke & carbon monoxide detectors per Code as well as lead hazard remediation work items detailed in the Lead Risk Assessment & LBP Inspection 186 Elm Street - Additive Bid - Furnish & Install Roof Guards over Entry Ways, Furnish & Install Three (3) New Exterior Doors ( 1 with side light, 1 sliding glass door & 1 French door ) & One (1) Storm Door. Furnish & Install New Floo ring in Laundry Room & Utility Rooms, properly Plumb Connections to Existing Water Heater. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. Bid Solicitations and Contract Documents are provided by the Development Authority of the North Country as part of the Authority's due diligence in its role as the NYS CDBG Sub Recipient for St. Lawrence County . St, Lawrence County is the recipient of the New York State CDBG Grant funding. The Development Authority staff, will review all bids submitted for completeness. The Development Authority will make recommendation to the homeowner on the lowest responsible bidder. The Rehabilitation Contract will be between the Homeowner and the Contractor. MWBEs and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to apply The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS CDBG-assisted project will be extended to lower-income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area, in the award of contracts and purchase of services and supplies. Please Note that due to the Corona Virus - All Participants Planning to attend the Pre Bid Meetings must be Covid Free, not have any Covid Symptoms nor have come into contact with anyone that has had Covid for 14 days prior to the meeting day and time. In addition, any participants at the meeting must be wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart for social distancing. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids.
