As of 09/16/2022 Start date is end of September. End date is October 28, 2022 PROJECT SHALL CONSIST OF: o Proper signage and traffic control; o Control of site erosion and sediments; o Milling of existing pavement of Midway Road and intersections; o Grading and re-compaction of millings; o Placement of 4-inch asphalt not over approximately 275,000 square feet; and o Topsoiling, seeding, fertilizing, and mulching. Contract documents are subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15, 66.0901, 66.0903, and 779.15, Wis. Stats. The bid proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than five (5) percent nor more than ten (10) percent of the maximum bid, payable to the Town of Rockland, as a guarantee that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, will execute and file the Contract. The Certified Check is returnable to the bidder immediately after the signing of the Contract. A performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price, and a Certificate of Insurance along with an executed contract will be required of the successful bidder. The Town requires that all Bidders assume an affirmative duty to notify the Town of errors in the plans and specifications. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities in the bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the Town. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of Bids without consent of the Town
