Construct Two 60 I-beam Bridges with a concrete deck on GRS Abutments This work will be done under the Oklahoma Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, except as modified herein. The proposal will include a special provision with reference to Contractors Non-Collusion Affidavit and a 5% bid bond in a certified or cashiers check or surety bond shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Evidence of having proper workmens compensation coverage for employees as provided by Title 85 of the Oklahoma Statutes Section 61 shall be required prior to issuance of a work order. Rates for liquidated damages for this project will be $500.00 per calendar day. Upon award of contract to a successful bidder, the contract will be completely executed within ten (10) working days from the date of award by the successful bidder and Lincoln County. Lincoln County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.
