The Town of Big Stone Gap (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Big Cherry Straight Fork Ridge Trail Interconnect The Project includes the following Work: Includes the base bid construction of a 5,297 Linear Feet (L.F.) multi-use trail, including location signs, mile marker signs, sitting benches, bear-proof trash receptacles and associated appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract for each individual Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. Partial funding for the project is being provided by the Recreational Trails Program of the Federal Highway Administration administered in Virginia by DCR and must be undertaken in accordance with the Recreational Trails Program guidance of the FHWA and the with 2, 23 and 49 CFR.
