As of December 6, 2023, per owner, they are in the process of qualifying contractors. The Central Energy Facility (CEF) is a two-level, 9,277 gsf structure built in 1973. The underground steam & CW pipe serves 12 buildings and 17 buildings respectively. The CEF envelope and roof will be repaired. Cooling tower scope includes 1 new tower and 2 existing towers. Steam and CW scope includes includes about 1,500 ft of steel pipe replacement and 1,300 ft of PVC pipe replacement respectively. The solicitation is for Architectural and Engineering services. All A/E services will be done in compliance with S.C. Office of the State Engineer Manual. Expected disciplines include architecture, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural.
