Renovation of a municipal facility in Griffin, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This proposal covers the complete modernization of the elevator located at City of Griffin - One Griffin Center. All work will be performed in a workmanlike manner and will include all work and material as specified herein. In all cases where a device or part of equipment is herein referred to in the singular number, it is intended that such reference will apply to as many such devices as are required to complete the installation. 1. The Scope of Work is to modernize the elevator equipment for (2) traction elevators located at One Griffin Center at 100 S. Hill Street, Griffin, Georgia 30223. The two (2) elevator modernizations should be considered one job. Modernization objectives: a) Improve system reliability. b) Improve stopping accuracy and ride quality. c) Improve door operation and performance. d) Compliance with current Fire requirements e) Compliance to the Americans with Disabilities Act. f) Compliance with existing elevator and building code requirements. g) Consideration for improving end user experience by implementing current industry technology. h) Resolve current and near-term component obsolescence challenges. i) Lower operating costs by implementing equipment that requires less maintenance and less volatile financial exposure for the facility given current vintage of equipment.
