Demolition, site work, paving, new construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Englewood, Colorado. Completed plans call for the addition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
Arapahoe County (the County) is seeking responses from qualified construction contractors to work in cooperation with the Open Spaces Department and its landscape architect, Wenk and Associates, on the improvement of Dove Valley Regional Park (DVRP). DVRP, is an existing 52 acres park developed in the early 1990. The site - with its expansive turf areas, wide paved trails, numerous picnic shelters, and large hills - has hosted countless sporting matches, exercise sessions, birthday parties, and sledding days. The east side of the park, approximately 40 acres in size, was acquired by the County in the early 2000s and has never been developed.
