Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kearny, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and transportation facility.
Trackwork planned for Phase 2 will provide system fluency and efficiency by making repairs and upgrades to 12,144 LF of track, 17 switches, turnouts and crossings at their facility in Kearny, NJ. The work includes the installation of new 136# rail; select tie and ballast replacement; construction of three new concrete at-grade crossings; select switch and turnout replacement and asphalt paving of high traffic areas of the yard; as well as other required tasks for track construction to support freight rail activities. All BIDDERS are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
