DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This work shall include, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor and equipment for the installation of lighting foundations and all other work shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The site of construction is along SR 9/Main Street from North Street to Walker Way. COMPLETION DATE: Work shall be completed no later than December 15, 2022. BID GUARANTY: Each Bid Proposal Packet shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashier's check or an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. If the Bidder is awarded the Contract, a Performance, Maintenance, Labor and Material Bond shall be required in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. The Bidder shall be also required to submit certificates of all insurance BID PROPOSALS: Bid Proposal Packets shall be properly and completely executed on the forms provided, including State Form 52414 (Form 96), revised 2013 or later. Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of 60 days following the date set for opening bids. The Columbia City Board of Public Works reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Columbia City Board of Public Works further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any Bidder to the advantage of the City of Columbia City, or to reject all bids.
