Site work for a water / sewer project in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work is comprised of the construction of a new raw water pump station with intake structure. Major elements of the Work include, but are not limited to: construction of a new raw water pump station consisting of a raised reinforced concrete platform with an enclosed pump house, intake pipes and protection structure in the Mississippi River, new emergency generator, drainage work along East Cuevas Street, demolition of existing structures, and associated civil, electrical and control work as required. The Work is located at the OWNER's water treatment plant on East Cuevas Street in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Bidders shall be licensed pursuant to appropriate laws, rules and regulations of the State of Louisiana and the Parish of Plaquemines, and shall submit evidence that they hold license of proper classifications in full force and effect at the time the plans are obtained. License number shall be shown on the outside of the sealed bid. Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the form of cashier's check, certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid. Please make check payable to Plaquemines Parish Government. Cash will not be accepted. If any further information is required, please call the Parish Engineer.
