For Professional Services for FY 23 - 2CFR Requirements Pursuant to the provisions of HRS 103D-304 Procurement of Professional Services, the County of Kauai hereby provides public notice to invite persons engaged in the professional services listed below to submit current statements of qualifications and expressions of interest for the fiscal year 2022-2023. Provide a structural assessment of the War Memorial Convention Hall, specifically the main lobby/entry area and the two exhibition halls, for modification for use as a shelter in the event of a hurricane. The structural evaluation will determine measures necessary for use as a shelter in the event of a hurricane. The structural evaluation will determine measures necessary to strengthen the doors, windows and louvres and any other sub-par elements, such as roof top equipment, decking and coverings against wind borne debris, wind driven rain and high wind pressure. The funding for this work comes under FEMAs Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, so 2 CFR Part 200 applies Awards shall be electronically posted on the County of Kauai website within seven (7) days of the contract award: electronically ; follow: County Agencies; Finance - Purchasing Division; Tabulations and Awards; Professional Services. Estimated Contract Time: 60 Calendar Days The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
