The Covelo Community Services District. (CCSD) is currently advertising for contractor bids regarding its "Collection System & WWTP Improvements Project". Contractors are encouraged to carefully read the "Information for Bidders" section in the Contract Documents. Questions concerning these documents must be submitted by email to luke.halonen@ghd.com. The Work consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the replacement and testing of approximately 217 LF of 6" ACP sewer with 6" SDR-26 sewer, including the reconnection of one lateral along that 217LF length of sewer; 502 LF of 6" ACP sewer with 8" SDR-26 PVC sewer and approximately 9 laterals along that 502 LF length of sewer; 8 laterals along another stretch of sewer main, and 4 manholes; a canopy over the existing ozone equipment at the WWTP and a photovoltaic (PV) system on the new canopy and connection of the PV system to the existing electrical system, all as shown on the plans and as specified in the specifications prepared by GHD. The email shall also contain the name of the Bidder, their address, license number, and California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) registration number. CCSD shall provide a response email receipt from GHD Inc. to the Contractor showing the date and time the submission was received. There will not be a pre-bid meeting. The general prevailing wage rates applicable to the Work are set by the State Director of DIR State of California under Labor Code Section 1771.4. The Contractor will be required to comply with any changes in these wage rates as they are updated by the State government at no cost to the Owner. Prevailing rates are available electronically
