The City of Gallatin is applying for a Community Development Block Grant to rehabilitate the first floor of a building, located at 600 Small Street, Gallatin, TN 37066. The purpose of this rehabilitation project is to transform the first-floor space into a day care facility. The property contains a non-profit organization, Gallatin Shalom Zone, on the second floor with the first floor vacant. As part of its due diligence process, the City of Gallatin wishes to obtain a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for the property (Parcel ID: 113O H 032.00 001). The site is on 6.2 acres. The building was built in approximately 1950. See attached property card from the Sumner County Assessor of Property. The City of Gallatin is requesting proposals from environmental firms to complete a Phase I ESA for the above referenced parcel.
