A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work covered under this project will consist of providing all labor, equipment and material necessary to remove and dispose of 125 linear feet of timber bulkhead and the installation of 3520 square foot/146 foot long stone sill consisting of 500 square yards of geotextile, 550 tons mattress stone, 550 tons core stone and 400 tons armor stone and the installation of 900 square feet of marsh restoration consisting of 290 cubic yards of fill soil and 600 plantings, including all other necessary and incidental work to complete the project. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. A BID BOND drawn to the order of the Borough of Tuckerton in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Bid, but no more than $20,000.00, must be submitted with the proposal as BID SECURITY, pursuant to Local Public Contract Law (LPC) 40A:11-21. The Borough of Tuckerton hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Borough further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Borough
