The City of Lynn, Public Works Department, invites qualified firms and individuals to submit Statements of Qualifications for design services for the performance of Park and Playground Repair and Improvement Projects at six (6) of the City of Lynn's parks. The City is proposing to expend American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to make park improvements including: installation of an artificial turf field, comfort stations, playground equipment, field lighting, ballfield improvements, irrigation systems, fencing, and an outdoor running track. Request for Qualifications (RFQ) may be obtained starting, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Lynn City Hall Purchasing Department, Room 205, 3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901. RFQ will be available via email/mail by contacting the purchasing department at 781-586-6893 or by email at: purchasing@lynnma.gov. Applicants shall submit five (5) copies of proposal clearly marked "RFQ 03-472 Park Improvement Design Services". The Scope of these services shall include but not be limited to: landscape architecture, architectural, surveying and engineering services and cost estimating for the design of park repairs and improvements for the City's public parks, athletic fields and playgrounds. Fee for Services will be negotiated on a per project basis. The City of Lynn reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all proposals or take whatever action may be deemed in the best interest of the City. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
