Mountain Green Sewer Improvment District is looking for bids for the construction of the Canyon View Lift Station. This courtesy posting is an advertisement of a procurement opportunity for Mountain Green Sewer Improvment District, not the Division of Purchasing. Responses should be directed to the designated individual/office as designated in the solicitation document. The Division of Purchasing does not accept responses for courtesy postings. The contract award for this solicitation will not be posted on this website. Instead, you will need to contact the designated individual/office as identified in the solicitation document. This solicitation posting will be canceled/closed upon the closing date of this solicitation; however, a vendor's response will still be evaluated by Mountain Green Sewer Improvment District as described in the solicitation document. The Division of Purchasing is neither the issuing or conducting procurement unit for this solicitation, as such it is the vendor's responsibility to review the entire solicitation in order to comply with any requirements. Scope of project includes the construction of a new wet well lift station, valve vault, building, and all related piping, pumps, valves, and appurtenances. Project also includes the demolition/abandonment of the Monte Verde Lift Station located near 5885 West Old Hwy Road. Questions may be submitted to Jared Andersen, P.E., Project Manager at jandersen@sunrise-eng.com. Answers to questions will be uploaded to U3P. The last day to accept questions will be August 22, 2022. Each BID must be accompanied by a BID BOND payable to the OWNER for five percent of the total amount of the BID. As soon as the BID prices have been compared, the OWNER will return the BONDS of all except the three lowest qualified, responsible, responsive BIDDERS. When the Agreement is executed, the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful BIDDERS will be returned. The BID BOND of the successful BIDDER will be retained until the PAYMENT BOND and PERFORMANCE BOND have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID BOND. A PERFORMANCE BOND and a PAYMENT BOND, each in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. BIDDER hereby agrees to commence WORK under this Contract on or before a date specified in the NOTICE TO PROCEED and to substantial complete the CONTRACT within 180 consecutive calendar days thereafter. BIDDER further agrees to pay liquidated damages, the sum of $500.00 , for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as provided in Section 15 of the GENERAL CONDITIONS. This BID will remain open for sixty (60) days after the date of Bid Opening. If awarded the Contract, the BIDDER will sign the Agreement and submit the security and the other documents required by the CONTRACT within ten (10) days after the date of the OWNER'S "Notice of Award"
