The Lynchburg Regional WRRF Solids Improvement Project consists of the Sludge Holding Tank #2 Improvements (City Project #18024-S) drawings and technical specifications dated November 4, 2022, the Sludge Holding Tank #1 Improvements (City Project #19003-S) drawings dated April 1, 2019, and the NPW Piping Modifications (City Project #17004-BG) drawings dated April 1, 2019. Sludge Holding Tank #2 Improvements include construction of a sludge transfer and mixing pump station, modifications to an existing centrifuge feed pump station, construction of above grade process piping, demolition of existing clarifier mechanisms in Sludge Holding Tank 2, and rehabilitation and re-coating of Sludge Holding Tank 2. Sludge Holding Tank #1 Improvements includes demolition of an existing mixing system, construction of a new mixing system, and rehabilitation and re-coating of Sludge Holding Tank 2. NPW Piping Modifications includes demolition of existing NPW piping and construction of new NPW piping and appurtenances in the Sludge Stabilization Building. Access to the third floor of City Hall, which includes the Procurement Office, is now restricted due to new security features. FedEx, UPS and the USPS have access to the building to deliver mail/packages to the Procurement Office. If Bidders choose to hand deliver bids, they can do so at the Citizens First Information Center in the first floor lobby of City Hall, 900 Church Street, Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Procurement Office staff member will be contacted by Citizens First to retrieve the bid and time stamp it at that time. It is the sole responsibility for the Bidder to ensure their bid is time stamped prior to the deadline for submission. Please allow additional time to ensure this is done. As always, late bids will not be considered.
