Site work and paving for a civil project in Alstead, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a road / highway; and road / highway.

As of September 14, 2022, project was awarded to JP TRUCKING, but awarded amount is not available. The Town of Acworth is inviting proposal submissions for road repairs resulting from rainstorm damage incurred July 29, 2021. The event has State and Federal disaster declarations and has been designated DR-4624. Generally, work will be done under the supervision of the Town and its engineer. All work will meet Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) requirements. The scope of work for this RFP covers the initial final repairs on Derry Hill Road in Acworth including but not limited to the following: 1. Replacement of damaged culverts and head walls. 2. Placement of stone, as needed. 3. Dust control, as needed. 4. Additional work as directed by Engineer. Proposals shall include: 1. Proposers company, individual and point of contact names and contact information; 2. A description of qualifications, similar projects and FEMA experience with references; 3. A description of in-house and subcontractor rates, materials costs and estimated project time; 4. Certificate of Insurance and W-9. Criteria for proposal selection will include: 1. Demonstration of project understanding including history of site and conditions; 2. Demonstration of willingness to work with Town engineer; 3. Completeness of time and materials description; 4. References from previous similar projects; 5. Estimated cost with breakdown as appropriate. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and adheres to all State and Federal nondiscrimination criteria. This request does not obligate the Town for any costs associated with proposal preparation. FEMA does not require acceptance of the lowest cost proposal. This project is capped at $250,000. Contractors submitting Time and Materials proposals exceed the project cap at their own risk unless agreed upon in writing by both parties in advance. On acceptance, the successful bidder will submit a contract which includes provisions required by FEMA under 2CFR 200:317-327, FEMA Quick Reference Guide attached.
