Site work for a civil project in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The design firm will provide services as a sub-contractor to the general contractor so that the work will be constructed under a single prime contract. The scope of the project includes, but is not limited to, removal of an existing deteriorated 18" CMP stormwater pipe; installation of new EPDM pipe; tie-ins of the new pipe at an existing manhole located at the levee riverside toe and at an existing stormwater inlet on Pierce Street; restoration of the impervious fill of the levee embankment; restoration of the stone armor which consists of 18" riprap installed on 6" bedding material; repair the vertical sag in an adjacent concrete floodwall; and install new concrete endwall and stone armor where the pipe discharges into the Susquehanna River. The project site is located at approximately Station 341+00 on the earthen levee immediately adjacent to the upstream abutment of the Pierce Street Bridge, Municipality of Kingston, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
