Quotes must be on company letterhead with a date and signature of an authorized representative of the vendor. All vendors providing written quotes must have the required expertise and capability to perform the work or supply the commodities or equipment. Consideration will be given to the vendor who has the capability to perform the work or supply the commodities or equipment, consideration shall also be given to the vendor's geographic proximity to Wakulla County for future ease of delivery, mobilization, or customer support after a purchase. The lowest cost, responsible and responsive vendor who is capable of performing the services or supplying the commodities or equipment shall be awarded the contract. The Board of County Commissioners is seeking written quotes from licensed and insured vendors with the required expertise and capability to perform the work or supply the commodities or equipment to replace the existing hot water boiler with a new Raypak Non-Condensing boiler at the Wakulla County Courthouse. Provide labor and materials to replace the existing hot water boiler with a new Raypak non-condensing boiler at the Wakulla County Courthouse: Power down the existing boiler and lock out tag out the electrical Shut of the natural gas to the boiler Shut off the supply and return hot water Remove the existing flue piping Remove the existing boiler and set the new boiler in place Re-connect all water and gas piping. Re-install new or existing flue piping (if it appears to be in exceptionally good shape) Re-connect the electrical Leak test all the work Perform the factory authorized start-up and ensure proper operation Clean-up the work area The selected vendor shall be fully informed as to all existing conditions and limitations that affect the work to be performed hereunder. Failure to become familiar with site conditions will in no way relieve the successful vendor from the necessity of furnishing any materials or performing any work that may be required nor shall it be grounds for a change order for work that would have been apparent had a site visit been made. The selected vendor shall be expected to complete all necessary and required services pursuant to this quote. This quotation is for replacement of the existing hot water boiler with a new Raypak Non-Condensing boiler at the Wakulla County Courthouse; therefore, final completion shall be expected within Sixty (60) days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, as approved and signed off by the County. If vendor requires extending completion date due to material lead time the vendor must request extension in writing to the Procurement Office. The vendor awarded will be required to provide minimum one year warranty on labor. Upon award of the written quotation the vendor will be required to provide the necessary liability insurance as per County requirements.
