Site work for a municipal facility in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

The fence and gates shall be installed on the west side of the complex, and the privacy slats shall be installed in the existing fence on the east side of the complex, as shown on the map. Below are the minimum specifications required for a chain link fence, gates, and privacy slats: PRODUCTS 1. Chain Link Fence: A. Shall be polymer coated steel fabric (ASTM F668, Class 2 extruded and adhered). B.T he color shall be black in compliance with ASTM F934. C. The chain link fence shall be made of steel wire, helically wound and interwoven in such a manner as to provide a continuous mesh without knots or ties except in the form of knuckling or twisting the ends of the wire to form the desired selvage of the fabric. D. The fabric height shall be 6'. E. The coated wire shall be an 11-gauge core and an 8-gauge finish. F.T he mesh size shall be 2". 2. Powder Coated Framework (Double layer powder coating system thermally fused to galvanized steel pipe. A base coat is an epoxy moisture barrier for corrosion resistance; the finish coat is polyester with enhanced UV resistance): A. Frame Members: a.S teel Pipe; Type I shall be ASTM 1083 standard weight schedule 40 with a minimum yield strength of 30,000 psi, and hot dipped galvanized with a minimum average of 1.8oz/ft2 of coated surface area. b. Steel Pipe; Type II shall be 40wt cold-formed and welded steel pipe. It shall comply with ASTM 1043, Group IC, with a minimum yield strength of 50,000 psi., protective coating per ASTM F 1043, .09 oz/ft2 minimum zinc coating, and internal coating Type B, minimum 0.9 oz/ft2 zinc. B.F rame Size: a.T he end and corner post shall be 3" O.D. b. The line post shall be 2-1/2" O.D. c.T he rail and braces shall be 1-5/8" O.D. d. The gate posts shall be 4" O.D. C. Railing: a.P rovide rails with outside sleeve-type expansion couplings which provide rigid attachment and allow for anticipated movement. D. Interrupt Rails: a. Only at terminal posts, gate posts, significant grade, or direction changes E. Top rails: a. Continuous top rails are required. Center the braces only at the junction between corner/terminal posts and adjacent line posts.
