Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Working plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

As of January 12, 2023, all bids for this project have been rejected. The project is expected to be rebid in February, 2023, however, a firm rebid date has not been established. The successful bidder will be responsible for construction of a bulk salt storage building. The construction of this facility incorporates reinforced concrete strips footings, reinforced concrete slab on grade floor, reinforced vertical concrete walls on three sides approximately 12-feet tall with an open wood framed roof structure with sheathing and asphalt shingles. Utilities to the building are limited to general purpose electrical for lighting and outlets and it's included in this contract. There is no plumbing or mechanical work included in this project. Bids will be received for Single Prime Contract type. All proposals shall be lump sum. Contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades and that North Carolina General Statute 87 will be observed in receiving and awarding contracts. General Contractors must have general license classification for Unlimited Building No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of 30 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. Bids shall be made only on the BID/ACEPTANCE form provided herein with all blank spaces for bids properly filled in and all signatures properly executed.
