Site work for a water / sewer project in Draper, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of June 5, 2023, project was awarded to SIRQ Construction Inc., but awarded amount not available. Description and Scope of Work: Request for Proposals to Drill a production borehole for the construction of a production water well. The well is to be drilled to a total depth not to exceed 1500 feet. The well will be drilled with 20-inch casing to a minimum depth of 800 feet deep. The Bidder will propose a drilling method and strategy to meet these requirements which may include telescoping boreholes/casings. The well casing may be perforated or screened depending upon the successful Bidder's proposed drilling & construction method. The bidder shall propose a method for determining zonal water quality at the earliest possible timeframe. The well will be swabbed (Bidder to propose method & swab tool configuration) and test-pump developed to determine anticipated yield and water quality. Anticipated production is from a fractured bedrock (quartzite) aquifer. The well will be constructed to Utah drinking water standards. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond will be required. All questions relative to the project shall be directed to the ENGINEER/GEOLOGIST, or electronically on or before March 17, 2023.
