Green Gables Golf course currently has two underpasses for golfers accessing the north side of Route 6. The current underpasses have retaining walls exiting the box culvert on both sides of the highway. The existing retaining wall is interlocking concrete panels anchored into the backfill with steel reinforcing strips. Upon an engineer's inspection, it has been deemed that the wall system is at the end if it's life cycle and should be replaced. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $250,001 > $500,000, Taxes extra.
