Bids must be from an appropriately licensed contractor and must be sealed. Interested bidders must be appropriately licensed. Within 10 days after notification of the Award of Contract, the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the form required by the District, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an admitted surety company as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120.Each Bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: (1) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (3) a certified check made payable to the District; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by a California admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, made payable to the District in the form set forth in the Bid Documents.
