Estimated Budget: $750,000 to $1,000,000 The project consists of the renovation of the existing wet wells and installation of pre-engineered pump stations at each of the three (3) pump stations. Submersible mixers will be installed in the wet wells at two sites. Emergency generators will be installed at two sites. Other improvements include electrical work, fencing, trench restoration and asphalt paving. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. Bid security in the form of a certified treasurer's or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount, not to exceed $20,000, is required and should be made payable to the Voorhees Township with a letter of surety. Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and 100 percent Payment Bond issued by a surety satisfactory to the Township. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127. regarding affirmative action, and must also submit a business registration certificate with the bid pursuant to P.L. 2004, c.57; The contractor is also further notified that he must comply with P.L. 1977, Chapter 33, and submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders with his bid and a non-collusion affidavit. The contractor is also further notified that he must comply with P.L. 2012, Chapter 25, and submit a Disclosure of Investments in Iran and with P.L. 2022, c.3 and submit a Certification of Non-Involvement in Prohibited Activities in Russia or Belarus with his bid. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq., the "PUBLIC WORKS REGISTRATION ACT" requires that all contractors, subcontractors and sub-subcontractors register with the Department of Labor prior to bidding on all public works contracts. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part, and also to waive any informality in any bid or bids so received. Bids must be made on the bid forms provided, in the manner designated therein and required by the bidding documents.
