Expansion of the College facilities including the construction of a new building to respond to a faced lack of space. This problem will be exacerbated by the increase in the number of enrollments expected by 2029. Space must therefore be added so that the establishment has adequate capacity for its future students. The new building will be intender to house the arts education programs and will welcome 1300 new students. The area of the new facility may be as high as 7,000 m2 to more than 13,520 m2. The project is included in the Quebec Treasury board list of projects with a value equal or exceeding $50 million dollars. Scope of work, budget of the project and timelines of its implementation are being finalized. TIMELINE: Project and award of a professional consultant for the preparation of the project Functional and Technical plan are on hold pending required approvals and official confirmation of the project by provincial authorities. Project will be followed if/when the project will proceed to a design stage. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
