The Englewood Water District is requesting sealed bids to secure the services of an experienced, competent and responsible Contractor(s) to provide preventative maintenance, repairs of the District's generators and/or fuel polishing services. These prices shall be considered firm for three (3) years from October 1, 2022, with an option to extend/renew for one (1) additional two (2) year term by mutual written consent, at the same terms and conditions. Request for additional information or clarification regarding the specifications must be sent via email to Bee Ling Wheaton, Purchasing Manager, bwheaton@englewoodwater.com. All questions and clarifications must be submitted via e-mail by 4:00 p.m. (EST) on August 19 (Fri), 2022. Verbal requests will not be entertained. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond or Cashier's check with their bid in the amount of NOT LESS THAN 5% of their total amount of the bid. This security shall ensure that the Bidder does notrevoke the bid after bid opening, orfailsto execute any necessary additional documents. Cashier's checks will be returned to all Bidders after award of bid. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission with or without cause and/or to accept the bid that, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the District. Also, the District reserves the right to accept all or any part of the bid and to increase ordecrease quantitiesto meet additional or reduced requirement of the District. If only one response is received, the District has the discretion to accept or reject the bid, depending on available competition and the timely needs of the District. If time is of the essence or in its best interest, the District also reserves the right to negotiate with a vendor if the District receives a single response, or no responses, to a competitive solicitation, depending on the urgent needs of the District.
