Renovation of a water / sewer project in Parker, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

At said time and place, all Bids that have been timely received in compliance with the requirements of this Invitation to Bid and the applicable contract documents (the Contract Documents ). The two well sites (the Site ) on which all work (the Work ) on the Project shall occur is located near Parker, Colorado, which is within the boundaries of the Owner and located in Douglas County, Colorado. The Work will be performed under a single contract and shall include the materials and installation of all materials, labor and equipment as indicated on the drawings and in the technical specifications and as otherwise required to install pumping equipment and conduct pumping system startup testing in two recently completed Denver Basin aquifer wells (CDWR Permits 17934-R-F, Well L and 85229-F, Well A6). Checks should be made payable to the Owner. Contract Documents shall not be redistributed to preserve integrity of Owner s list for updates and changes. Bidders may request interpretations or clarifications of the Contract Documents from the Engineer by telephone or electronic mail. The Owner will not be bound or responsible for any explanations or interpretations other than those given in writing by the Engineer. No oral interpretations shall be binding on the Owner. The deadline for requesting interpretations or clarifications from the Owner or Engineer is 4:00 pm on Tuesday August 30, 2022. SITE VISIT: Prospective Bidders may arrange to visit the Site by contacting the Owner. The contact to arrange a site visit is Mr. Richard Krulish, Pinery Water and Wastewater District, 5242 Old Schoolhouse Road, Parker, Colorado 80134 Phone: 303-841-2797, Ext. 201 E-mail: rkrulish@pinerywater.com. BONDS AND SECURITY: A Bid Security Bond, in an amount equal to of the Bidder s price must accompany the Bid. All required bonds shall be in a form satisfactory to the Owner. INSURANCE: The successful Bidder will be required to submit a Certificate of Insurance demonstrating that the Bidder carries insurance coverage with limits of not less than those set forth in the Insurance Requirements included as Section 0840 of the Contract Documents: Worker s Compensation Insurance, Employer s Liability Insurance, Commercial General Liability Insurance, Automobile Liability Insurance, Umbrella Liability Insurance, and Builder s Risk Property Insurance. SPECIAL CONTRACT PROVISIONS: Part 2.6 (B) of the General Conditions contains provisions concerning the employment of or contracting with illegal aliens. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of fifty (50) days after the Bid Opening. SCHEDULE: Work shall commence within 14 days after the date of issuance of a Notice of Award in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. The Notice of Award will be issued on or about Monday, September 5, 2022. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, the right to waive any informality or technicality contained in any Bid and the right to waive any formality or technicality in the bidding procedures. ocation and Access The project is located in Douglas County, Colorado in the service area of Southeast Suburban Water and Sanitation District. There are two separate well site locations: Well A-6 and Well L. The A-6 well site is located in the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 1, Township 7 South, Range 66 West of the 6 th PM. The A-6 site is located near the junction of Preservation Trail and Betts Ranch Road, Parker Colorado (Figure 1). Directions to A-6 are as follows: Heading South on Highway 83 (South Parker Road), turn left or east onto Hess Road, after 0.2 miles continue straight as Hess Road turns into Hilltop Road. Then after 2.1 miles turn right on to N. Village Road. After 0.2 miles turn right on to Betts Ranch Road. Continue 0.5 miles to the intersection of Betts Ranch Road and Preservation Trail. The A-6 well site is approximately 200 hundred feet east of the intersection on the east side of Betts Ranch Road and Preservation Trail (see Figure 1). The L well site is located in the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 20, Township 7 South, Range 66 West of the 6 th PM. The site is west off a residential area at the intersection of Carefree Trail and Raintree Drive (Figure 2). Directions to the Well L site are as follows: Heading south on Highway 83 (South Parker Road), turn right or west onto Bayou Gulch Road, turn left or west onto Raintree Drive until it bends northward, turn left on Tranquilo Court, turn right onto dirt access road and follow for approximately 100 feet to the Well L site Scope of Specifications These specifications describe the pumping system installation and startup testing at Arapahoe Well A-6 (CDWR Well Permit: 85229-F) and Lower Dawson Well L (CDWR Well Permit: 17934-F-R) at the Pinery. The pump installation work includes both wells being completed under one contract. The work must be completed by a water well pump contractor licensed in the State of Colorado that is qualified to install the type and size of equipment specified herein. The materials to be provided and installed by the pump contractor under this project include all pumping system components inside of the well, including the pitless unit. All materials that are on the "downstream" side of the wells' pitless
