Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) seeks a qualified, professional construction firm capable of providing complete professional construction services for the Runway 6L-24R Exits and Runway Rehabilitation Projects at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) which includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing pavement, subgrade preparation, mill and overlay, stabilized base, and PCC and AC pavement; construction of PCC and AC pavement; placement of barricades, installation and removal of temporary electrical, temporary markings, temporary blast fencing and traffic delineators during construction phasing to support this project; installation of various utility improvements, including drainage improvements, grading improvements, fueling modifications, airfield lighting, surface pavement markings, and signage improvements; modification of FAA facilities including installation of Runway Status Lights (RWSL); removal and relocation of Airport Surface Observation System (ASOS), windcones, Airport Surface Detection Equipment (ASDE) reflectors, Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI), Fiber Optic Transmission System (FOTS) and electrical power infrastructure; fuel hydrant and structure modifications; and other associated work. The successful Proposer shall be working adjacent to active runways and taxiways, and will need to coordinate construction and phasing coordination with other adjacent ongoing stakeholder projects.
