Escambia County Fire Rescue is seeking quotes to improve the insulation at Station 4, 2 Woodland Ave Cantonment Florida, 32533. This quote is seeking vendors interested in applying spray foam to the roof decking above the living area of the fire station, but input will be solicited on the best way to increase/optimize insulation while keeping the building to an inhabitable temperature without the use of portable or temporary A/C units. Attached are two documents first the blueprints for the building and the second a highlighted area defining the living area. Any copies of these documents printed must be returned upon completing the scope of work. The quote must include the following: 1. Type of Insulation Primary preference is spray foam 2. If spray foam the removal of the batt insulation 3. Length of time needed to complete the project 4. Permit cost, if applicable 5. Dumpster or disposal cost, if applicable 6. Labor Cost 7. Travel cost, if applicable 8. Any additional cost not listed Scope of Work 1. Insulation value must be above industry minimums 2. Coverage must be consistent in all areas 3. Clean up of materials 4. Timely completion The vendor awarded the bid must start within 10 days of PO notification and any questions can be sent to the above email address. Payment will not be remitted until the scope of work is met.
