All potential bidders must hold a current Georgia Utility Contractor's License of proper classification and in full force and effect in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14. Contractor must be a qualified natural gas contractor under the laws of the State of Georgia and must comply with any Federal, State, and City guidelines and regulations. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid. Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. In addition to the foregoing, the Contractor must provide satisfactory evidence that they carry Worker's Compensation in accordance with the State of Georgia Worker's Compensation Laws, and public liability and property damage insurance in sufficient amounts to ensure adequate coverage of the work: 1. Worker's Compensation & Builders Risk 100% 2. Comprehensive General Liability 1M/3M/50K 3. Comprehensive Vehicle Liability 1M/3M/50K The successful bidder shall secure and pay for all permits, assessments, charges or fees required in connection with the proposed construction. All anticipated rights of way and easements required for the project have been obtained. The City of Warner Robins reserves the right to accept none, all or any part of the bid and to waive informalities or technicalities or to re-advertise as appropriate.
