The bid is to supply two vacuum priming systems for the Quarles Water Treatment Plant facility, one for the Quarles 2 High Service Pump Station and one for Quarles Water Treatment Plant Raw Water Pump Station No. 1. The equipment will be awarded in one Contract. The Owner of the project is Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority. Bid opening time is subject to extension pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 36-91-20(d). Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same. All questions related to the Project shall be submitted by email no later than 4:00 p.m., local time, September 8, 2022 to the Owners Project Manager, Rita Neely, at rneely@ccmwa.org. Questions, if answered, will be addressed by addendum to the Contract Documents. Receipt of any amendment to this Advertisement for Bids shall be acknowledged, in writing, and shall be submitted with the Bid. A list of planholders may be maintained by contacting the Owners Project Manager, Rita Neely, at rneely@ccmwa.org. All Bids must be made out on the bid form to be obtained from the Owner with the contract documents. No interlineations, additions or deletions shall be made in the bid form by the Bidder. The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any Bidder in the preparation of its Bid in response to this Advertisement for Bid. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the day of the Bid opening, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and re-advertise.
