Demolition, site work, asbestos abatement and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for asbestos abatement for a playground / park / athletic field.

The work for this project consists of demolition of the existing south bathrooms building and construction of a new south bathrooms building in Riverside Park. Construction work includes but is not limited to the following: complete demolition of the existing building; site grading; cast-in-place concrete; cmu walls; engineered wood trusses; structural steel; roofing; insulation; exterior sewer and water service pipe connections; interior plumbing, electrical & HVAC; doors; lighting; porcelain tile; painting & site restoration. A solar panel system is included as a bid alternate. The work also includes installing city-supplied plumbing fixtures and toilet partitions. The City is contracting directly with an asbestos abatement contractor to perform the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials within the existing building prior to commencement of work under this contract. The General Contractor may be required to interface and coordinate with work being done by the asbestos abatement contractor and any other work being performed by the City. Construction administration services will be provided by MDD.
