NO FAXES OR HARDCOPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED Period of Performance: 09/30/2022 to 07/31/2023 SCOPE OF CONTRACT It is the objective of this contract to build deer exclosure fences around timber stands to keep white tailed deer out and prevent tree seedlings from being browsed. This contract will construct eight-foot woven wire fence (7 to 8 foot high with up to 1foot overlap on the ground) in forested areas on the Allegheny National Forest. The Contractor is responsible for furnishing all supervision, labor, equipment, tools, materials, and incidentals (except as noted in 150 - Government Furnished Property) necessary to complete the work. PROJECT LOCATON Fence construction areas will be located inside the boundaries of the Allegheny National Forest within the following counties in Pennsylvania (Warren, McKean, Elk and Forest). C.3 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT The Government's estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. C.4 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Project specifications and plans are included in Section J of this solicitation. PACKING AND MARKING All shipments of materials, equipment and/or supplies shall be addressed to the Contractor and not to the Government.
