1850 W. Grand Chute Boulevard, Grand Chute, WI 54913. The Town of Grand Chute reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities in Bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serves the interests of the Town of Grand Chute. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening. No Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a Certified Check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the Town of Grand Chute in an amount not less than of the maximum Bid as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract. Contractors shall meet at the front entrance of the building. Copies of Drawings, Project Manual, and other Bidding documents may be viewed at that time. While attendance is not mandatory, no additional charges shall be allowed for lack of information. Failure to visit the site or failure to examine any and all bid documents prior to submitting a bid will in no way relieve the successful bidder from the necessity of furnishing, without additional cost to the Town, any materials or equipment or performing any work that may be required to complete the work in accordance with the specifications. If the prospective bidder is not able to meet the scheduled pre-bid walkthrough time the vendor may, contact Seth Westberg, Park's and Facilities Manager, at 920-380-2948, for another walkthrough. The Town makes no guarantee that another walkthrough will be possible and bidders are encouraged to attend the scheduled pre-bid meeting. The Town of Grand Chute (Town) is hereby requesting bids be submitted to establish a contract for the repair of metal roofing at the Town Center Park Community Building, located at 1850 W. Grand Chute Boulevard, Grand Chute, WI 54913, measuring approximately 2,500 square feet along the north slope and 300 square feet along the south slope; both slopes shall include all materials and accessories necessary to complete the repairs. The anticipated quantities for both roof slopes are as follows: remove and replace 2,800 square feet metal roofing; 27 squares of roofing felt; remove and replace 75 linear feet of ridge cap (metal roofing); remove and replace 75 linear feet of steel rake/gable trim (color finish); remove and replace 75 linear feet of eave trim for metal roofing; remove and replace 25 linear feet of snow bar (aluminum power coated); remove and replace 3 each of neoprene pipe jack flashing for metal roofing; detach and reset 32 linear feet of gutter/downspouts (gutters installed through drip edge).
