The Town of Mount Pleasant (Town) is requesting Bids from interested and qualified Bidders to perform renovations to the Joe Gawrych Baseball Complex/Sloan Park baseball field located at 1559 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 all in accordance with the scope of work contained herein. There are three Little League Baseball Fields at Sloan Park. The successful Bidder will perform infield renovations and reestablish the appropriate Little League Baseball dimensions as specified in the attached drawing for all three infields. Any lips that are currently at the transition between the clay and grassed areas, low spots, and high spots will be removed and leveled. The infields are currently grassed and will be converted to skinned infields during renovation. For the infield renovations, home plate circle will be reconstructed and no pitching mound will be established. Existing portable pitching mounds will be reused. Plates, bases, and anchoring systems must be replaced during the infield renovations. The successful Bidder must provide infield mix replenishment. The successful Bidder must include add options with the cost for outfield renovations. The pricing for the outfield renovation should be per field so the town can perform additional work that the budget allows. Two options will be considered for outfield renovation, laser grading and topdressing. The successful Bidder must include an add option for an irrigation system for an entire field (infield and outfield). The pricing for the irrigation system must be per field so the town can perform additional work that the budget allows. Renovation on either an infield or outfield must include initial field striping. All Work must not start before November 15, 2022, and be completed by February 15, 2023, to not interfere with scheduled use of the field. Each Bidder should carefully examine the "Solicitation Documents" including any Addenda. The Bidder shall at once notify and place in writing any identification of any discrepancies or ambiguities, in theBid Documents, to the Town's Procurement Division. Written notification must be submitted through the Town's Procurement Portal and must be received no later than 12:00 P.M., October 7, 2022. The Town's Procurement Portal can be found at https://tompsc.bonfirehub.com/portal. No allowance will be made or oversights or misunderstandings by the Bidder after the Bids are received.
