Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Question Deadline 09/08/2022 at 4:00 PM ET All Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted no later electronically. Work to be Substantially Completed in: 240 calendar days Liquidated Damages: Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per day The project shall consist of the removal of the condenser water pumps, removal of the river cooling system complete, and the installation of two 200 ton cooling towers, pumps, pipings, and a galvanized service platform. A Bid Bond, certified check, or cashiers check made payable to the Treasurer, City of Norfolk, for 5% of total bid must accompany each bid. Offerors shall upload a copy of the bid guarantee with the Offerors acknowledgement to mail the original sealed document to the Owner, within two (2) business days. State Contractor registration class and number is required by electronic bidding via the Vendor Questionnaire. The City reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or to reject any or all bids in whole or part, when it is in the best interest of the City. The right to waive informalities and to determine responsiveness of any bid and responsibility of all bidders is reserved to the City.
