Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rochester, New Hampshire. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
In 2018, through EPA's Greening America's Communities program, a design charrette was completed, a portion of which focused on the Union Street Parking Lot. A conceptual design that included access and layout improvements, as well as improvement to the drainage infrastructure and aesthetics was produced. An FY22 appropriation funded the design of the conceptualized parking lot reconstruction. This FY23 request funds the construction of proposed improvements. This project is included in the city's 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and funding is allotted for FY 2023. As of August 16, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
