Request for Expression of Interest Consulting Engineering Services The following RFEI is being solicited by the SMRSA: Consulting Engineering Services The SMRSA is considering changes, additions, renewal and/or replacements to various portions of its existing infrastructure in the near term. The SMRSA recognizes that many options it will consider will require significant development time, and is beginning this process now to proactively evaluate such options. The SMRSA seeks, through this RFEI, to identify firms that can meet all, or a portion of, the SMRSA's future Asset Management Goals and Capital Improvement Objectives. While this is not a procurement, information gathered and obtained through this process may be used to support future procurement(s). The SMRSA will consider entering into an agreement(s) with one or more of the respondents to provide engineering services beginning in fiscal year 2023. Respondents to this RFEI may express interest in the management of an individual component, multiple components or for the entire RFEI. As the need arises, the SMRSA expects to solicit additional proposals for various other professional engineering services, as it deems necessary. This RFEI shall not constitute a solicitation or procurement document for any design, construction, operation or service relating to the SMRSA. However, failure to submit a response to this RFEI, or participate in any discussions relating thereto, will preclude any interested party from future participation in any procurement process that may be undertaken by the SMRSA relative to its Asset Management Goals and Capital Improvement Objectives as outlined herein. The SMRSA reserves the right to reject any or all submissions due to any defects or waive informalities and accept any submissions that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the Authority. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
